Are you looking for art, culture, sport?

The museums, theatres and opera houses in Frankfurt have lots of events for children. There are performances for children. Things children can do to join in and learn. You can find out more on the website of the City of Frankfurt am Main:

The "Satourday" programme run by Frankfurt's museums gives families free admission to museums on the last Saturday of the month. Many museums take part:

The Frankfurter Flöhe run a children's cultural programme. Children can go to various plays with changing ensembles from all over Germany. Performances take place in many districts in Frankfurt, and admission prices range from 0.50 to 4.00 EUR:

Do you need financial support for excursions or entrance fees?

Children can do a lot in their free time in Frankfurt. You will find an overview here. "KUFTI" (Kultur- und Freizeitticket) tickets have been available free for children up to the age of 18 since 2020. The ticket gives children and young people free admission to many museum exhibitions and the zoo. Find out more here:

The Kulturpass gives people on basic income support admission to many museums and theatre performances for just 1.00 EUR. You can use it to go to performances at Schauspiel Frankfurt, Oper Frankfurt and Alte Oper for 3.00 EUR. All offers and information on where to apply for the Culture Pass can be found here:

You can get money with the education and participation benefits (BuT), for example to take part in social and cultural events (only for children and young people between 0 and 17 years).

There is a lot children and young people can do in Frankfurt. There are adventure playgrounds, children's houses, youth clubs and facilities for girls.
